Four people died from the consequences of the coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours in Serbia, raising the total number of fatalities to 7,047.
According to information published on the covid19.rs web-site on June 30, 8,397 samples were tested in that period and 104 were positive. There are 293 people currently being treated in hospitals, 12 of them on ventilators.
Epidemiologist Predrag Kon stated on June 30 that "nothing is over yet" regarding the coronavirus epidemic, and that vaccination was "an issue of national security and one above all others," because of which it has been recommended that vaccination was made mandatory for all medical workers, and that making it mandatory for all adult citizens should also be considered.
