Aleksandar Vucic
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic stated on July 21 that the interior minister and president of the Movement of Socialists, Aleksandar Vulin, put forward the idea about the creation of the "Serb world" at a party gathering, and that the official policy was that Serbia's borders were internationally recognized by the United Nations.
Vucic said in an interview to Television Pink that he delivered "a calm, serious and responsible address" at the gathering. He said that Vulin "delivered his address," which, in his words, "appealed more, I presume, to a larger part of Serbia."
"It is not up to me to silence him, but let it be clear to everyone – Serbia has its internationally recognized borders in the United Nations, and only that interests us, including Kosovo and Metohija as a part of Serbia, in keeping with Resolution 1244 of the U.N. Security Council... and I will not be repeating that again and apologizing," Vucic stated.
He dismissed the criticizing of Aleksandar Vulin's showing of photos of mutilated bodies, which the clan of Veljko Belivuk is suspected of being responsible for, and stressed that he would have done the same. " I will ask him to show more things, the things they did, if that is possible without jeopardizing the criminal proceedings, so that the people can see what we have had to deal with and what has been going on," Vucic stated.
