The population census in Serbia is going according to plan and without any serious irregularities in the field, a statement said on Oct. 21, adding that more than 4.7 million citizens took part in the census in the first 20 days.
The statement says that the 4.7 million people enumerated in the first 20 days equals around 65 percent of the population recorded in 2011.
In the same period, 2.43 million apartments were enumerated, which is roughly 75 percent relative to the previous census, and 1.8 million households, i.e. 72 percent relative to the 2011 census.
