Serbian Defense Minister Milos Vucevic said on Feb. 3 that he had not heard any concrete proposals from the opposition for resolving the Kosovo issue in parliament, rather only "booing" and "tearing papers."
Vucevic, also a vice president of the Serbian Progressive Party, said that the events in the parliament on Feb. 2 showed how difficult the position of Serbian and Progressive party President Aleksandar Vucic was, but also the extent of absence of a political environment in which serious issues could be dealt with.
"As a state, we should learn what a state interest is and forget about political divisions," Vucevic told Prva TV. According to him, at the session banners with slogans were raised by both those who had released Kosovo Premier Albin Kurti from prison and those who, in his words, advocate the recognition of Kosovo's independence.
