The director of the Serbian government's Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petkovic, stated on April 19 that the next round of the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, expected to be held in Brussels on May 2, would be dedicated to the Community of Serb Municipalities.

„[The purpose is] that we delve into particular steps regarding the forming of the Community of Serb Municipalities – not in the way in which (Kosovo Premier) Albin Kurti wants, but in the way that was agreed on in the four agreements in 2013 and 2015,“ Petkovic stated in an interview to the RTS public broadcasting service.

In his words, the first step would be for the management team to present a draft of the Community’s statute, which would then be debated on and which should contain all the provisions agreed upon within the general principles in 2015. He underscored that, exactly ten years since the signing of the Brussels Agreement, Pristina was still refusing to form the Community of Serb Municipalities, and that the international community was particularly responsible for that.
