EU Special Representative for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue Miroslav Lajcak on July 19 will host the Belgrade and Pristina chief negotiators, Petar Petkovic and Besnik Bislimi respectively, as part of the EU-brokered dialogue.
The focus will be on full implementation of the agreement reached in Brussels on Feb. 27, and the steps toward de-escalating tensions in North Kosovo, EU spokesman Peter Stano wrote on his Twitter on July 18.
Earlier, Lajcak has written on his Twitter that he had “a useful discussion” with Kosovo Premier Albin Kurti about the current situation in North Kosovo, the road to de-escalation and the agreement implementation.
“At this year’s Symi Symposium, I had a useful discussion with Premier Albin Kurti about the current situation in the north of Kosovo and the way forward towards de-escalation and implementation of all Dialogue agreements,” Lajcak wrote.
