The Montenegrin designate prime minister and president of the Europe Now Movement, Milojko Spajic, stated on Sept. 20 that there was still time to form the government, adding that they were not under pressure from foreign embassies.
“There is no pressure. They are partner countries, wishing to help Montenegro. They are very interested in us because Montenegro can be a leader and an example to everyone, but we behave so frivolously on the political scene that they are concerned about the outcome,” Spajic told reporters after the meeting with EU ambassadors, to whom he presented the concept of the future government.
Almost a month and a half since receiving the mandate to form the government, Spajic has not come closer to doing so. He is under strong pressure to form the government with the former members of the Democratic Front close to Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and, on the other hand, faced with the international community’s clear, vehemently opposing stance.
