Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic on Aug. 27 said it would be good if outgoing British Ambassador to Kosovo Ruairí O’Connell would name the criminals who should not receive votes of Kosovo citizens in the upcoming early parliamentary elections.
“It would be useful to hear the ambassador name the persons he referred to as criminals and to say whether he possesses evidence against them,” Stefanovic said.
According to portal Kosovo-Online, in a statement to Pristina TV T7 on Aug. 26, Ambassador O’Connell called on Kosovo citizens not to vote in the upcoming snap elections for the politicians who had been stealing and committing criminal acts, while sending across patriotic messages.
