The Democratic Party’s Member of Parliament Srdjan Milivojevic was elected last week the new president of this once-powerful party, which for years now has been unable to pass the electoral threshold alone. Milivojevic's victory was a surprise to a degree, as he noticeably differs from all his predecessors at the helm of the Democratic Party. On the other hand, the choice is quite understandable as the growing fight against Aleksandar Vucic's government, is being increasingly waged in the streets.
