Serbian Finance Minister Sinisa Mali met on May 20 with the French ambassador to Serbia, Jean Louis Falconi, to discuss the economic situation against the backdrop of the Covid-10 pandemic, as well as French investments in Serbia.

Minister Mali underlined that the economic situation in Serbia was stable, and that the country was prepared for a global crisis, with a public debt low, hard-currency reserves high and a surplus in the budget, the finance ministry reported.

The ambassador said that the French companies operating in Serbia had praised the Serbian government's economic measures, and that they had been very positive. The diplomat also confirmed that none of them gave up their investments.
