The U.S. president's special envoy for negotiations between Kosovo and Serbia, Richard Grenell, has postponed the June 27 meeting of representatives of Belgrade and Pristina at the White House.

Grenell tweeted in response to the June 25 announcement of Kosovo Premier Avdulah Hoti about his being unable to attend the meeting with representatives of Serbia in Washington, after the raising of the indictment by the prosecution in The Hague against Kosovo President Hashim Thaci and other war crimes suspects.

"Thank you, Prime Minister Hoti. We understand your decision and we look forward to re-scheduling the meeting soon," Grenell tweeted.
