The European Parliament's rapporteur for Serbia, Vladimir Bilcik, stated on Feb. 25 that the message of his report, which has been adopted by the Foreign Affairs Committee of the European Parliament, was that Serbia had made significant progress in the field of European integration, especially in the dialogue with Pristina.

He has told TV N1 that the European Parliament appreciated the Belgrade authorities' constructive approach to dialogue, and the fact that the new government had set European integration as a priority.

He described the report about Serbia's progress as a realistic and solid document, which should be considered as a whole, not just in parts.

He has told TV N1 that he would have talks with the Serbian authorities and President Aleksandar Vucic at the end of March, after the adoption of the document at the plenary session of the European Parliament. He said that the reform of the judiciary and improvement of the rule of law had to be fulfilled, in concrete cases of corruption and organized crime.
