Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has said that what affected him the most in the European Parliament's (EP) report on Serbia is criticism of the health care system, because it is unfair and that is why he said that "someone got lost in time and space."

As a guest on a TV show on Happy TV, in the evening on March 29, Vucic read out parts of the report and said that the items on understaffing and lack of equipment in health care were not true, that there were 570 ventilators sitting in a storage facility, and that according to other parameters, too, Serbia was among the better ones in Europe.

"If some others were in power, we would not have a single vaccine because we have not received any from the COVAX program, even though they had 'written letters'," said Vucic and added that he would not pay attention to criticism.

He added that when the EP mentioned Jovanjica or Telekom, the people might wonder who knew what there, but that criticism of the vaccination system or of the data on the struggle against the coronavirus "hurts" him.

He reiterated that important representatives of great powers had told him to his face that no one wanted to see a strong Serbia, but that he would not reveal the source of that information.
