Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has said that the number of vaccinations by Apr. 15 has exceeded three million, "1.8 million was the first dose while over 1.2 million citizens have been re-vaccinated" adding that 1.8 million citizens will have been re-vaccinated in the next two weeks.

"We will be able to procure considerable amounts of vaccines by the end of April. On Apr. 19 211,000 more Pfizer vaccines will arrive and we have received the second component for 50,000 Russian vaccines, I expect 50,000 on Apr. 16 and 100,000 first components at the beginning of the week. We are awaiting 500,000 more doses of the Chinese vaccine before the end of the month," Vucic said during a tour of the Torlak Institute for Virology and Serums after presenting a batch of AstraZeneca vaccines intended for Republika Srpska.

Vucic said that he was glad to be able to present "10,000 doses, meaning 10,000 more which means 20,000 doses of the AstraZeneka vaccine for Republika Srpska," to Bosnian Presidency Chairman Milorad Dodik.
