Ten People Die From Coronavirus In Serbia, 387 Newly Infected

Ten people died from the coronavirus in Serbia in the past 24 hours, raising the total number of fatalities since the start of the epidemic to 6,811, it was announced on the covid19.rs web-site on May 26.

The presence of the virus has been confirmed in 387 people among the 10,345 tested. There are 981 patients currently being treated in hospitals, 63 of them on ventilators.

About 40.8 percent of adults in Serbia have so far been vaccinated against the coronavirus, 32.74 percent of them with the second dose, the Serbian Broadcasting Corporation (RTS) reported on May 26. The number of administered doses is 4,342,773 according to the report – 2,420,190 people have received the first dose and 1,922,583 have received both doses. The average age of those vaccinated is 59.
