On Nov. 2, Serbia imported an additional five millions of cubic meters of natural gas and would continue so on Nov. 3 if necessary, Dusan Bajatovic, the general manager of state-owned natural gas provider Srbijagas said, adding that there will be no problems in gas supply.

Bajatovic told TV Pink that import of gas had been agreed with partners in Hungary and also in Austria and Ukraine, noting that money was not the biggest problem, but shortages of natural gas in Europe.

Bajatovic also said he expected that a rapture on the gas pipeline through Bulgaria, which had caused problems in gas supply, would be repaired shortly and that the problem would be resolved by Nov. 3. He stressed that Serbia’s current gas storage was around 400 million cubic meters.
