The Belgrade-Pristina dialogue is to resume in Brussels on Nov. 16. According to announcements, Kosovo and Metohija Office Chief Petar Petkovic and Kosovo Vice Premier Besnik Bislimi will have separate meetings with EU Special Representative for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue Miroslav Lajcak.

EU spokesman Peter Stano has said that in Brussels, Belgrade and Pristina representatives will discuss “the implementation of the earlier achieved agreements, open issues and how they will move one.”

Petkovic and Bislimi last met for a dialogue round in late September, when an agreement was made on de-escalation in Kosovo’s north in the wake of tension triggered by the Pristina authorities’ decision to impose reciprocal measures for car plates entering from central Serbia.

In the meantime, a first meeting of the working group, set up to find a lasting solution for car plates within six months, was held on Oct. 21.

Officially, the topics of the Nov. 16 meeting in Brussels are not known, or whether the two delegations will, aside from separate meetings with Lajcak, also sit together at the negotiating table.
