In the last 24 hours, 56 people died of COVID-19 in Serbia, while 2,771 were confirmed to be newly infected with the coronavirus that causes the disease, it was announced on Nov. 22.
According to a post on the covid19.rs website, 14,946 samples were tested in the same time frame. Of the 5,610 currently hospitalized COVID patients, 213 are on ventilators.
Since the beginning of the COVID-19 epidemic in Serbia, the disease has killed 11,281 people, and 1,235,828 have been confirmed to be infected with the virus out of a total of 6.693.075 samples tested.
