Among the Progressive party’s four contenders for the position of new prime minister, current Finance Minister Sinisa Mali is most likely to be appointed, media reported on May 18.
According to the Vecernje Novosti daily, which cites unnamed sources, the other three possible candidates are current Prime Minister Ana Brnabic, Novi Sad Mayor Milos Vucevic and the deputy mayor of Belgrade, Goran Vesic. The paper added that Vesic is least likely to be awarded the position.
