Vucic Meeting Lajcak in Mostar on April 16

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, who has been visiting Mostar, a town in Bosnia and Herzegovina, will on April 16 meet with Miroslav Lajcak, the EU special representative for the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue and other Western Balkan regional issues.

Before meeting Lajcak, Vucic and Republika Srpska President (RS) Milorad Dodik are scheduled to tour Bileca, a town in RS, eastern Herzegovina. After meeting Lajcak, Vucic will attend the festive opening of the 25th Mostar International Business Fair, featuring 26 Serbian companies operating in various industrial sectors. and visit the Serbian national pavilion.

Vucic arrived in Mostar on April 15, on the first direct Belgrade-Mostar flight, reestablished after a 33-yaer hiatus. In the evening, he met Borjana Kristo, the chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Dragan Covic, the vice-chairman of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Meanwhile, Lajcak has posted on his Facebook that he is “heading to Bosnia and Herzegovina,” and that later this week, he will “host the Chief negotiators of Kosovo and Serbia for another round of talks in order to find a temporary solution for the people impacted by the Kosovo Central Bank decision.”
