President of the Movement for the Restoration of the Kingdom of Serbia (POKS) Vojislav Mihailovic said on June 5 that "as election manipulation reoccurred" during the June 2 polls, it’s absolutely clear that the entire opposition should have supported the stance that the requirements of a free and fair vote should always come first, adding that his party’s attitude towards the part of the opposition that participated in the elections "will no longer be the same".

Mihailovic considered their move "a wrong and unnecessary adventure, as they had decided to run in local elections under unchanged conditions, which has caused immeasurable harm to the opposition efforts to normalize the situation in society".

It is necessary to “call to account” the parties promised by Ambassador Christopher Hill that the U.S. would count on them as new power holders in Serbia if they participated in the rigged elections and thereby help Aleksandar Vucic to prolong his rule and implement fully the Franco-German agreement, " Mihailovic was explicit.

According to the opposition party leader, the current regime can only be brought down by people "who stand by their words and show by personal example that there are greater values for them than financial benefits and empty promises by our enemies to help them come to power as soon as they decide to replace this regime."
