Dejan Mirovic, a professor at the Faculty of Law in North Mitrovica, said on Sept. 4 that the Serb Ticket party had completely betrayed the Serbs living in Kosovo and Metohija, as it had chosen to follow Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic’s personal interests.
In an interview with BETA, Mirovic said that the party, choosing between the interests of the Serbian people and Aleskandar Vucic’s personal interests, “decided to be an instrument of Vucic’s unconstitutional and illegal politics.”
"Vucic formed, financed, and has been the de facto leader of the Serb Ticket. That’s why this organization has completely betrayed the Serbian people and why a more fitting name would be Vucic’s Ticket," the professor said.
When asked to list the party’s biggest mistakes, Mirovic said that a decision to obediently follow Vucic's politics made all the Serb Ticket’s moves inherently wrong. The professor of law underlined that the party’s officials never shared the fate of the Serb people in Kosovo and Metohija. "The Serb Ticket’ s officials have always sided with the authorities in either Pristina or Belgrade, working against the interests of the Serbian people," he said.
