Serbian Prime Minister Milos Vucevic has said that the government has taken a negative stance on the opposition's draft law on banning lithium and boron mining.
Vucevic told Euronews Serbia that the government had sent its opinion to parliament, where a session on the draft law proposed by the opposition will take place on Oct. 7.
He said he was ready to attend the session and participate in a debate even though, as he put it, he would be in North Macedonia for a part of the day on Oct. 7.
The prime minister added that he thought Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic should not attend that session because those who had requested a session on lithium had not proposed that.
