A reshuffle of the Serbian government is certain and it is only a question of time when it will be carried out, Prime Minister Milos Vucevic said on Oct. 18.

"The ministers are sure that there will be no cabinet reshuffle and they think it's just talking for the sake of talking. And they are all sure that it does not apply to them, because they are important, because they have a good relationship with the president or with me," Vucevic told Pink TV.

He added that he would talk with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic to see when a "cross-section" would be made, whether on the government's anniversary - in early 2025, or at some other time.

This is the third time that Vucevic has announced a cabinet reshuffle, although he did not say why such a thing was necessary.

The prime minister also touched on the reinstatement of mandatory military service, saying that he expected the first generation - or first class - of young soldiers to be in army barracks in the fall of 2025.
