Representatives of the opposition in Serbia are irresponsible, not brave enough and indecisive, which is why the Serbian Progressive Party-led regime is stable, former prime minister Zoran Zivkovic said on Oct. 25.
Zivkovic told Nova TV that the Progressives would have toppled from power in 10 major cities and towns had the opposition leaders not boycotted the local elections in June.
"Half of the opposition has been bought," said Zivkovic.
He also said that the problem lay in the fact that the democratic authorities had not passed a lustration law, because if that had happened the majority of present-day politicians would not have the right to engage in politics.
