On Dec. 13, the Independent Teachers’ Union of Serbia will halt classes in all schools for one hour and demand the resignation of Education Minister Slavica Djukic Dejanovic along with the stop of all forms of governmental repression, it was said, against citizens exercising their Constitutional and legal rights to peacefully express their opinions on social phenomena and processes, the Union has announced.
“Until these demands are met, classes will be halted every Friday in all schools,” the Union stated.
Additionally, members of the Independent Teachers’ Union of Belgrade have said that they will join university students on Friday, Dec. 13, in commemorating the victims of the Novi Sad railway station collapse.
