The NADA Coalition, which consists of the New Democratic Party of Serbia and the Movement for the Restoration of the Kingdom of Serbia (POKS), declared on Dec. 27 that “no one, not for a moment” was seeking to take power without elections, but that a transitional government, with a limited term of six to nine months, was necessary for creating the conditions for free and fair elections in Serbia.
The New Democratic Party of Serbia's president, Milos Jovanovic, described the formation of a technical government with a term restricted to no more than nine months, as the only solution to what he called "the deepest political crisis since the Serbian Progressive Party came to power."
"We want elections, but not electoral fraud, which is the only thing that the Progressives are capable of organizing. A transitional government is necessary to ensure genuine elections and establish accountability for the murder of 15 of our fellow citizens in Novi Sad," Jovanovic said.
