The Association of Pediatricians of Serbia said in a press release on Feb. 5 that it supported the demands of the university student protest and described the students' fight as suprapolitical.
The Association noted its respect for the enthusiasm, social and intellectual maturity and perseverance shown by the students over the last months.
"It seems like yesterday that we were curing them, and today they appear to be curing all of society. The world passes to the young, and it appears that with young people like this the world will be in good hands. We are witnessing a generational change and it seems individuals more creative and able that we, their predecessors, were are taking the social helm," the press release reads.
