Serbian National Assembly Speaker Ana Brnabic has said regarding criticism against the authorities for exporting arms to Israel that she is "sorry about wars," but that Serbia has to sell the weapons and ammunition it manufactures.

"This country has its own military industry, it is a significant factor of our economy and supports tens of thousands of families in Serbia," Brnabic told Pink TV.

She said that Serbia "certainly can be proud of its military industry."

"But you know, the military industry produces ammunition and weapons, which are usually used in wars. Yes, we export all our military industry products," said Brnabic.

In her words, the entire output of the Serbian military industry is booked years in advance, which she described as good for the people working in that area and for the national economy.
