Valentin Inzko Bosnia and Herzegovina

The leaders of the Republika Srpska (RS) parliamentary parties in a meeting have decided to boycott the Bosnia and Herzegovina (B-H) institutions as of July 27 to protest the recent decision by High Representative Valentin Inzko to ban the denial of genocide.

It was said that for now, the Serb representatives would not withdraw from the common Bosnian institutions, but would not participate in their work, believing that there were no conditions for their work.

The meeting participants adopted five conclusions, including the one according to which the RS political representatives reject the imposed decisions of the high representatives and consider the imposed law as “inadmissible and void.”

They also concluded that there existed no conditiosn for the Serb representatives to participate in the work of the decision-making institutions – the Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency, the Parliamentary Assembly and the Bosnia and Herzegovina Council of Ministers.

They also dismissed “any impositions” at the level of Bosnia and Herzegovina, saying that there existed no legal high representative as he “was not elected in line with procedures,” and there they refused to cooperate with him.

It was said that through party groups, two criminal bills in relation to war crimes would be submitted to the parliament.
