The European Investment Bank (EIB) and the Croatian HBOR bank for reconstruction and development have signed a new loan agreement for EUR142.5m in favorable loans for small and medium enterprises, which is the second installment of a EUR400m package, the financial institutions announced on Nov. 20.
According to SeeBiz, the contract is also part of an EIB initiative for employing youth.
The EIB finances companies that open jobs for youth under more favorable conditions.
