The receiver of the Zrenjanin Jugoremedija company posted on March 13 a new ad for a new auction for selling the pharmaceutical factory.
Bidding will begin at RSD762.7m. The factory’s industrial complex plus equipment and machinery, 28 vehicles, inventory and stockpiles, but also its intellectual property or 24 stamps, are being offered for sale, the ad which was published in the Politika newspaper states.
All physical and legal entities are allowed to participate while the public auction will be held in Zrenjanin on Apr. 16. There have been several attempts to sell Jugoremedija in the past while the latest failed attempt was made at the end of 2019 when it tried direct bargaining.
The board of creditors refused a Project One company offer to purchase the factory for RSD470m, while the Turkish Birgim Avrupa was also interested in buying the factory, board of creditors’ chairman Vladimir Pecikoza said. The factory was declared bankrupt in 2012.
