EXPO 2027

Serbian Minister of Domestic and Foreign Trade Jagoda Lazarevic and Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Minister of Trade and Economic Relations Stasa Kosarac signed in Belgrade on July 3 an agreement on Bosnia and Herzegovina’s participation in the Specialized EXPO 2027, which will be held in the Serbian capital.

The EXPO 2027 Company said in a statement that participation in the exhibition would open up additional opportunities to present Bosnia and Herzegovina’s economic, tourism and cultural potential to millions of visitors from around the world. Minister Lazarevic said the EXPO 2027 is going to be an opportunity to strengthen economic ties, connect businesses and present the potential of the entire region to guests from around the world.

“Bosnia and Herzegovina will have its national pavilion in an excellent location and I believe it will present everything that diverse and rich Bosnia and Herzegovina has to offer. The EXPO is not only a Serbian project, the EXPO is a regional project. I believe that together we will show that the EXPO connects people and brings benefits to the entire region, above all economic benefits,” Lazarevic said.

Minister Kosarac said the Specialized EXPO 2027 would open up new opportunities for economic connections between Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and international partners. Danilo Jerinic, director of EXPO 2027 d.o.o. Belgrade, said many young people from Bosnia and Herzegovina are interested in the volunteer program for the exhibition, adding that the largest number of international applicants came from that country. The Specialized EXPO 2027 Belgrade will be held from May 15 to Aug. 15 next year under the slogan “Play for Humanity: Sport and Music for All.”
