The authorities and a portion of the opposition in Serbia will finally start a dialogue on election conditions, mediated by the European Parliament, late this week, but one might wonder whether it is already too late for those talks. The leisurely pace of the negotiations set by the Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) is causing suspicion among some opposition parties that there will not be enough time for a serious debate or, more importantly, for the implementation of potential agreements.
