The accusations exchanged by former senior official of the Serbian Interior Ministry Dijana Hrkalovic and her former boss Nebojsa Stefanovic, now the defense minister, have been preoccupying the Serbian public for days. Hrkalovic’s and Stefanovic’s latest moves have shed a new light on that clash of two factions in the ruling Serbian Progressive Party. Meanwhile, the growing impression is that the goal of Dijana Hrkalovic’s attacks is, in fact, to bring down both indictments in the Jovanjica case, named after the property which was revealed to be the biggest marijuana plantation in Europe.
