The draft of a new Serbian law on interior affairs, which regulates police activities, has been causing strong public reactions for a few weeks now, after criticism directed at it by representatives of the civil sector. The provisions that have caused the most complaints pertain to the introduction of a face recognition video surveillance system and granting the police the right to enter private property without a court warrant.
