The first 100 days of Montenegrin Prime Minister Milojko Spajic’s government saw an agreement with the opposition on the control of the country’s census, a fresh momentum to the accession negotiations with the European Union (EU) based on new judicial appointments, a conflict between the Europe Now Movement and the Democratic Montenegro over appointments in the security sector, a record monthly deficit of EUR146 million in December, and an addition to the minimal pension that raised it to EUR450.
