Kosovo Assembly (BETAPHOTO/ARMENIJA ZAJMI BESEVIC)
The ruling Self-Determination Movement, led by Premier Albin Kurti, again won the first place in last week’s elections for the Kosovo Assembly but, according to the preliminary results, he will no longer have a majority with members of the minority non-Serb communities. The main stumbling block in the convening of Kosovo institutions will again be the election of the Kosovo president, while the results of the June 7 vote and relations among parties indicate that another snap election is the most realistic option.
