Serbia’s vote at the United Nations General Assembly last week for a resolution condemning the Russian aggression against Ukraine is a consequence of strong Western pressure on Belgrade, i.e. on President Aleksandar Vucic whose room for maneuver got noticeably smaller after Feb. 24. Given the delicate situation he is in, Vucic had no other choice but to make a move that was blasted by the pro-Russian circles in Serbia.
