Battle for the Leader of Albanians

The relations between Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama and Kosovo Premier Albin Kurti are currently at their lowest since the declaration of Kosovo’s independence in 2008. The conflict between the two leaders is deepening the gap between Albania and Kosovo and at its core is a struggle for power and for the role of leader of all Albanians. The discord between Kurti and Rama is not negatively affecting only Albania and Kosovo but regional stability, too.
