Serbia’s opposition parties and civic movements that have voiced explicit opposition to the ruling bloc are still undecided whether to boycott a regular parliamentary vote next year or not, and the chances are slim they will be able to resolve their differences any time soon. They have agreed that a fair and democratic vote is impossible to have at this point, and that the ruling bloc led by Aleksandar Vucic’s Serbian Progressive Party will not make any serious concessions in that respect, but they are still divided over whether to declare a boycott right away, or wait a while before a final decision is made, or that the elections shouldn’t be boycotted at all.
