A Politician Who Offers New Ideas

Over the past two years Nebojsa Zelenovic, co-president of the Together (Zajedno) party, has been one of the most fervent advocates of Serbia’s aligning with the West. In the past few weeks he made his view crystal clear, arguing that Serbia should abandon the neutral military status it had embraced, but the proposal has been met with opposition even from within his own party. Last week’s suggestion by Zelenovic that Serbia should form its own navy was widely ridiculed in social media.
