The director of North Mitrovica’s hospital, Zlatan Elek, was elected this week the president of the Serb List, the Belgrade-backed party representing the Serbs in Kosovo. Even though the party’s vise-presidents have been elected as well, Elek’s appointment is an attempt at rebranding the party, which is unlikely to change its politics.
