Slovenia is the firstcountry to have declared the end of the epidemic, but has not yet opened its borders. Serbian citizens can currently enter Slovenia only with a valid residence or work permit in the country and are issued a 14-day quarantine order, BETA learned at the Embassy of Slovenia on May 20.

Croatia has opened the borders for its citizens, while foreigners may enter under certain conditions and must possess documents proving the purpose of their visit at the border.

The head of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zoran Tegeltija, has announced that Bosnia's borders should open on June 1, but that conditions for foreigners to enter had not yet been defined.

North Macedonia, with which Serbia has announced the opening of borders as of June 1, has still not brought the decision on opening its borders, but that step is being hinted to.

The borders of Montenegro – one of the countries which Serbia had announced to open its borders towards as of June 1 – are still closed and there has been no announcement about when they could open, or under which conditions.
