The Regulatory Body for the Broadcast Media (REM) published on May 28 a new report on monitoring the media during the election campaign in which it claims that the opposition Alliance for Serbia was nearly twice more represented in the broadcast media than the reigning Serbian Progressive Party.

The Regulator claims that in the period from May 16-22 the Alliance received 16.16 percent of overall airtime during the election campaign in all media outlets as opposed to the Aleksandar Vucic - For Our Children ticket which received 8.87 percent.

Analysts were given the most airtime with 35.46 percent , while after the Serbian Progressive Party and United Democratic Serbia, a coalition consisting of the Socialist Party of Serbia, the Serbian Radical Party and others were covered the most.

The Regulator claims that, in terms of coverage by the Serbian Broadcasting Corporation the coalition consisting of the Socialist Party of Serbia and other parties had at least 18 times the amount of coverage that the Serbia president's ticket had. This means that the Socialists are dominant on the station's program with 18.04 percent of total time, as opposed to the Serbian Progressive Party which was allotted 0.93 percent of total airtime.
