The president of the Dveri (Doors) Movement, Bosko Obradovic, stated on July 2 that he welcomed the forming of a united opposition of Serbia, made up of all factors that have boycotted the elections at all levels, but that he believed it not to be sufficient.
"The broadest possible opposition front for the survival of the country should include renowned intellectuals, public figures and all people who are against the current regime, even those among its current supporters who have seen where the path the regime took was going," Obradovic explained in the statement.
He added that this was not the time for political and ideological divisions, but for the unification of the entire opposition public around the goal of pressuring the authorities into agreeing to a transitional, technical government of experts, and the forming of a completely new Task Force which would stop the further spread of the infection and remove its consequences on the country's economy.
