42 People Die of Coronavirus In Serbia, 3,615 Newly Infected

42 people died from the consequences of the coronavirus infection in Serbia in the past 24 hours, raising the total number of fatalities to 5,579, the Ministry of Health announced on April 7.

There were 3,615 newly infected among the 15,904 tested people. There are 7,938 covid patients in hospitals, 267 of them on ventilators. Since the start of the epidemic in Serbia, 629,388 cases of infection have been confirmed among 3,531,777 tested people.

The media reported on April 7, quoting the figures announced by the Serbian government, that 2,687,311 doses of vaccines against the coronavirus had been used in Serbia so far, with 1,134,776 people having received the second dose.
