As of May 12, Serbian citizens can download a Digital Green Certificate, i.e. a certificate of vaccination against COVID-19 and the results of various tests for the SARS-CoV-2 infectious disease, the Serbian government's Office for IT and eGovernment has announced.

"The Digital Green Certificate is a unified certificate proving that you have received a vaccine against COVID-19 and that you have the results of testing for the SARS-CoV-2 infectious disease. That certificate has a qualified electronic stamp and cannot be falsified or abused," said Office Director Mihailo Jovanovic.

In addition to personal information - first and last name, personal ID number, gender, and passport number - the certificate also contains data on whether a person has been vaccinated, the number of doses received and the date of administration of the first and second dose, as well as the results of a PCR, antigen or serological test.

To obtain a Digital Green Certificate, citizens need to register on the eGovernment web portal.

After a person has logged in and selected the Digital Green Certificate service, the option Start Service appears. After clicking on that option, they need to check their data and confirm their email address, and the Digital Electronic Certificate will be delivered to their inbox in a matter of minutes.
