The Freedom and Justice Party leader, Dragan Djilas, said that any objective public opinion poll would reveal citizen dissatisfaction with government, warning that the Ipsos and Factor Plus agencies were just "fabricating statistics in favor of the Serbian Progressive Party."
In an interview with the Danas newspaper published on May 17 the opposition party leader said that the agencies were trying to persuade Serbian citizens that no alternative existed to the Progressives, and also to "keep voters from going to the polls, suggesting that it won't change anything as their vote doesn't worth anything."
Djilas said that the owners of the two agencies, Marko Uljarevic and Vladimir Pejic, had given 60 percent of the vote to Vucic's party, which at this point would mean 2.16 million votes in favor of the Progressives.
The Freedom and Justice Party president said that pollsters had made mistakes before. He said that his party had hired several agencies to carry out polls in 30- or 45-day intervals, promising to share the results without identifying the agencies.
