Vulin Talks To Interpol Officials in India

Serbian Interior Minister Aleksandar Vulin and the general secretary of Interpol, Jurgen Stok, concurred during a conversation in New Delhi that Interpol was an unavoidable and irreplaceable factor in the common fight against trans-national organized crime and that it was necessary for the existing Interpol databases and tools to be additionally advanced and developed, it was stated by the Serbian ministry on Oct. 19.

Vulin, who is heading the Serbian delegation at the 90th session of the Interpol General Assembly, has pointed out that the Serbian Interior Ministry was a reliable partner in the fight against organized crime and that the Serbian police's extensive engagement in the fight against crime had been recognized by numerous bilateral and multilateral actors.

General Secretary Stok has stated that Serbia and its police were seriously counted on in the fight against organized crime.

Vulin also met with the president of Interpol and the police inspector general of the Interior Ministry of the United Arab Emirates, Major-General Ahmed Naser Al-Raisi. Al-Raisi has invited Vulin to visit the Interpol headquarters in the near future.
